Senator Obama made a speech yesterday that he hopes will calm the firestorm surrounding his campaign caused by his 20 year association with Rev. “God DAM America” Wright . I think he managed to pour ethanol on the flames instead of water.

You see, he wont distance himself from his (now former) Pastor’s ravings. He tried to make it about racism in America instead of his America hatin’ Pastor. I admit I sort of tuned out when I heard “Jim Crow”, its a defense mechanism against black racism, so I may have missed something important. I did note that he couldn’t pass an opportunity to pound out his far-left agenda at the end. Reading the transcript, I pretty much was able to fill in the blanks between “Jim Crow” and his Grandma.

The sad truth is that many will take this speech as the end of the chapter and get on with the work of electing the first Black President (even if he is a Black Racist). However, there is a small problem. What is the only real crime for the left?

Hypocrisy.

In an interview with ABC News Wednesday afternoon, Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., called for the firing of talk radio host Don Imus. Obama said he would never again appear on Imus’ show, which is broadcast on CBS Radio and MSNBC television.

“I understand MSNBC has suspended Mr. Imus,” Obama told ABC News, “but I would also say that there’s nobody on my staff who would still be working for me if they made a comment like that about anybody of any ethnic group. And I would hope that NBC ends up having that same attitude.”

I think the American People would expect you to have the same attitude as you had then Senator, too bad you are a real politician (read Hypocrite).
