Ed Morrissey is a homer, that’s for sure, but his story today on Hot Air made me warm all over.
Count the Land of 10,000 Lakes as a new battleground state. According to the Star Tribune Minnesota Poll, John McCain has caught Barack Obama and has put the state in a dead heat among likely voters. McCain has reversed a 13-point deficit from May and has forced Obama to start spending in what looked to be a solidly blue state(bold mine)
“Solidly blue state”? Master of understatement! This is one of only two states (along with the District of Colombia) that went with Walter Mondale over President Reagan!
If Senator McCain is within “spittin distance” in this state, Senator Obama is in deep trouble. My God, this state sent Paul Wellstone and Walter Mondale to the Senate…

This does sound good. My wifes whole family is excited about this election. It looks like we may find out just how far desperate Democrats will go.

What IS a homer? Other than the idiot father of Bart and Lisa whose most known lines are “DOH!” and “spider pig, spider pig, does whatever a spiderpig does.”
If Camille Paglia is worried about Obama’s chances, McCain has it it in the bag. If he can keep from doing something really stupid.
